If you want it, go fucking get it!

Following Strikeforces FUCKIN AMAZING free televised card this last weekend the UFC is producing UFC 105 featuring Brandon Vera vs Randy Couture. This night may not be as big as Fedor, but UFC loyalists can appreciate the depth of this card.

Vera vs Couture
Kang vs Bisping
Hardy vs Swick

Recommended Food for UFC105
Pizza – deep dish meat lovers from Pizza Hut
Hot wings – just get the cheap crap from Costco and throw some sauces on that stuff.
Cool Ranch Doritos
Funyuns
Sharp cheddar cheese ball from walmart with wheat thins (plain flavorings only, none of that gay sun dried tomato shit)
Mountain dew inbetween beer of choice.

Most of this should be left over from your Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 party your throwing saturday night.

Enjoy bitches.

Is Fedor the best?

Love him or hate him, the guy has proved what he is made of every time he gets in the cage/ring. Brett Rogers looked better than expected and had Fedor looking vulnerable in the first round.

So we’re pretty excited about Brandon Vera making his Main Event Debut. Randy Couture has proved time and time again that age is no factor in his performances. Brandon Vera had better bring it…. which we’re confident he will.

Here is the full UFC 105 card:

Main Event: Randy Couture vs Brandon Vera
Rest of card:
Andre Winner vs Rolando Delgado (Winner should take this easily)
Paul Kelly vs Dennis Siver
Matt Riddle vs Nick Osipzcak
Terry Etim vs Shannon Gugerty
Paul Taylor vs John Hathaway
Ross Pearson vs Aaron Riley
James Wilks vs Matt Brown
Michael Bisping vs Dennis Kang (should be explosive!)
Mike Swick vs Dan Hardy (someone’s going to sleep)

The rest of the card should sell this fight night. SpikeTV will be broadcasting at 8pm 11/14/2009.

Here is the promo video for Throwdown V. Show is on November 20 2009 in Orem Utah. Most of these guys are young in their career and are headed back to the big leagues and should be in the UFC or Strikeforce soon enough.

Check back for the full card closer to the 20th. Want tickets? Check back soon for more information.

ESPN’s upcoming magazine featured appropriately titled “The Body Issue” features Female MMA athlete Gina Carano. And I love it!

What: UFC 104: Machida vs. Shogun

When: The undercard starts at 7 PM ET Saturday, Spike TV will show an hour of fights beginning at 9 and the pay-per-view begins at 10.

Where: Staples Center, Los Angeles

Predictions:

Main Event Machida vs Shogun

Both fighters are going to start slow and conservative. Action should pick up pace towards the end of the round, but don’t look for a clear round 1 winner. This round will probably go both ways on judges score cards.

Round two will start much the same but the action will pick up a minute or two into the round. After several good exchanges from both fighters Shogun will rock Machida and eventually finish him.

Shogun wins via TKO

Rest of the Card:

Cain Velasquez vs. Ben Rothwell

Cain and Ben might have the opprotunity for fight of the night or most boring fight of the night. Cain is feeling the pressure to finish fights from both fans and UFC execs. I’m looking for Cain to finish this fight in round one with a surprising KO.

Cain Valasquez wins via KO in the First (or a snoozefest descision)

Read a prediction from MMA Fan House… what do you think?

Joe Stevenson vs. Spencer Fisher
Stevenson came back from a two-fight losing streak with a big win over Nate Diaz at the UFC Fight Night in June, but I like Fisher, who’s on a three-fight winning streak, to keep this fight standing and beat Stevenson on his feet. Pick: Fisher.”

God love Dan Hardy and still hate that douche Michael Bisping. Bisping doesn’t appear to be humbeled post Dan Henderson KO. I would like to see him with a change of attitude, but unfortunately that is Bisping… an English douche bag.

Want to waste 2:42 of you life… check out this cool video from DJ AL3.

Dana white talks about Roger Huerta’s future in MMA. Roger wants to head out into the acting world. I think he’ll do great, Dana was surprisingly understanding of his decision.

Dana also discusses Rampage pullin out of his fight to get into acting. Rampage is going to be Mr. T in the next A Team movie. Dana was pretty understanding of Roger Huerta but fairly disappointed in Rampage.

Dana also talked about taking on Network TV. He said by this time next year he’ll put a PPV card on Network TV for free. That would be huge for the sport. When EliteXC tried this they put all of their chips on Kimbo slice… rolled the dice…. and failed.

The UFC doesn’t have to roll the dice on a controversial fighter. They have the best in the business.
